Wedding Styling

design & supply

Whether you're planning a wedding outdoors or in a marquee, stately home or barn, how you decide to decorate your day and manage the process is incredibly important.

Hiring a wedding stylist is the best way to ensure that your wedding day looks and feels how you want it to. Whether that’s laid back boho style or luxury, classic and formal, your wedding day and venue should reflect you and the ideas you’ve always had about your special day.

Allow Lace & Lemons to transform each space, bringing your wedding ceremony and reception rooms to life through a series of consultations, mood boards, design lookbooks and supplier suggestions.

All-in Styling

from £1200

An all-inclusive styling service such as ours is perfect for couples who want their wedding styling process to feel cohesive and don't want the stress of trying to source, buy or hire props from lots of different places. At Lace & Lemons, we offer unlimited use of our original, curated items free of charge (fairy lights, table decorations, vases, signage etc) and only ever use approved external suppliers.

Let's get to know each other. We'll schedule a call to discuss your ideas, your vision, your wedding venue and your budget so we know exactly what you both want your wedding day to look and feel like.

We'll present a mood board and initial proposal for your wedding day complete with costs and a breakdown of style suggestions incorporating our own high-end and original decorations wherever possible.

Once you've booked Lace & Lemons to style your day, we’ll visit your wedding venue with you so that together we can envisage how each of your spaces will look at each stage of your day.

For each stage of your day, we will discuss the atmosphere and style we intend to create, providing the next layer of detail and a more specific breakdown of suggestions for lighting, floristry and other decorative elements.

We'll liaise with your venue coordinator and any relevant suppliers to ensure that your style is communicated and that everyone is clear on how your wedding day will look.

In the build up to your big day, we'll stay in close communication to ensure new ideas are included and minor tweaks are made in line with your preferences. In our eyes, it's a collaboration.

Eight weeks before your wedding day, we'll schedule a final meeting to cover all of the decorative details and logistics. It's our job to make sure that you both feel confident that we've got it covered.

Pour a glass of champagne and go get ready! We'll take care of on the day styling and setup, including moving items between the ceremony and reception. We'll be back to pack everything away the next day.

How we work

in detail

During our initial consultation, we will get to know each other and discuss each section of your event. Approximately seven days later, we will present you with a concise summary of the atmosphere and style we intend to create for each part of your day, along with a moodboard and a breakdown of suggestions for lighting, floristry and other decor elements .

Once you've decided to go ahead, we'll organise a venue visit which will help us to envisage how each of your spaces will look. After which, we will put together a bespoke lookbook which will add a secondary level of detail to the styling of your day and include as many tangible pieces of décor as possible. We will also make recommendations for any additional props or suppliers if required.

During the remaining months, we will share mock table set ups, fabric swatches and organise samples, and will work closely with you both according to your budget and style to deliver an entirely unique wedding day that reflects both of you.

And, of course, we’ll be there on the day to style and set up your venue, working in partnership with your venue co-ordinator and additional wedding suppliers every step of the way.

Our style approach

tell your own story

Our design aesthetic is led by our desire to subtly influence how people feel; ensuring that everyones first impression of your wedding is one of awe, and that this impression strengthens throughout your wedding day. We want you and your guests to be left with lasting memories of how your wedding made people feel- and of course, how beautiful everything was.

Our approach to styling is centred on the careful balance of colour, the blending of texture and pattern, and a play on scale and visual weight.

We want to create movement and a feeling of transience in a room or space, and to make sure that wedding day decor doesn't look like its been created for every couple who has wed there before. Wedding day decorations, details and style should reflect the change in personality, in persons and in seasons. It should compliment the venue or space; blending with it but acknowledging a hint of pleasing tension that makes your day entirely unique.
